US business days by month: 2026 and 2027
There are 250 US business days in 2026 and 249 in 2027, counting Monday to Friday and leaving out the federal holidays observed by the US government. The tables give the count for every month and name each holiday, using the date it is observed when it falls at a weekend.

How the table is worked out
Every weekday in the month is counted, then each federal holiday that falls on a weekday is taken off. Holidays and their observed dates are the US Office of Personnel Management's federal holidays list. When 1 January falls on a Saturday it is observed on the Friday before, so the holiday for 1 January 2028 falls on 31 December 2027.
